atLEAF App Privacy Policy
FT Green LLC built the atLEAF app [SERVICE] as a free app. This service is provided by FT Green LLC at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform Service users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us, during the Sign up on our registered website area, with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to email address, name, location, device SN. The information that we request can be retained on your mobile device and or collected and retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The Service does use the following third party services that may collect information used to identify you:
- Google Maps services (Google Maps Terms of Service, Google Privacy Policy).
- OpenWeatherMap services (OpenWeatherMap privacy Policy).
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, we can collect data and information on your mobile device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your mobile Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, mobile name, operating system version, configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, measures data and measures and other statistics.
Permissions and Use of Data
When connecting to a device for the first time using the Bluetooth connection, you will be prompted to allow Service to access your mobile device’s location. The coarse location permission is required because the software module used for Bluetooth includes more general functions as for Bluetooth beacons that can be used to determine a user's location. User must allow the access to coarse Location Services for Bluetooth scanning even if the Service doesn’t use this information. If denied, the Bluetooth connection cannot be established.
When sharing an ADAT file for the first time, the Service will ask for permission to access your contacts. This is required in order to access your available accounts for sharing resources set on your mobile device. The Service do not use these data for any other purposes, meaning that your contacts are never collected, neither by app, nor remotely. If you deny the access, the data cannot be shared and, on Android, can be accessed on the app folder.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
